Mahva: a corporate site built for accessibility and technical SEO

The challenge

Mahva is an industrial group in the entertainment sector with several product lines, addressing both business buyers and visitors arriving from search. The previous site served neither: it had no structure that showed the product lines, no content that could be found, and no panel their own team could update.

The solution

A corporate site on ASP.NET Core and SQL Server with a panel Mahva's own team uses to update content. Three things were in the definition of "done" from the start: accessibility — keyboard navigation, standard contrast, alt text on every image; performance — optimised images, caching, server rendering, Core Web Vitals measured before handover; and technical SEO — URL structure, Organization and Product structured data, a sitemap, a unique title and description per page.

Key features

  • The company and its product lines

Pages structured the way Mahva's business is, not the way a template is.

  • Gallery and media

Optimised images at several sizes, with alt text.

  • Content panel

Mahva's team creates and edits pages and news itself.

  • Accessibility

Keyboard, contrast, semantic structure, screen-reader friendly.

  • Technical SEO

Structured data, sitemap, unique meta, green Core Web Vitals.

The client and the problem

Mahva is an industrial group in the entertainment sector with several product lines, addressing both business buyers and visitors arriving from search. The previous site served neither: it had no structure that showed the product lines, no content that could be found, and no panel their own team could update.

What we built

A corporate site on ASP.NET Core and SQL Server: the company, product lines, gallery and contact, with a panel Mahva's own team uses to update content. Three things were in the definition of "done" from the start:

  • Accessibility — keyboard navigation, standard contrast, alt text on every image.
  • Performance — optimised images, caching, server rendering; Core Web Vitals measured before handover.
  • Technical SEO — URL structure, Organization and Product structured data, a sitemap, a unique title and description per page.
