When WordPress is the right answer — and when it is not

It is right when the site is content: a company site, a personal or professional site, a magazine, a small shop. WordPress is mature, your team already knows the editor, and there is no engineering reason to build something bespoke to publish articles.

It is wrong when the site is a system: stock across several warehouses, workflow with roles and approvals, a live link to accounting, or anything that has to stay correct while a hundred people use it at once. WordPress can be pushed there with enough plugins, and the result is slow, fragile and expensive to keep alive. When that is what you need, we say so and quote a bespoke build instead.

What makes ours different from the usual WordPress site

• No page builder. Elementor and its relatives ship megabytes of CSS and JavaScript to render a heading. We write the theme, so the page that arrives is the page you need.
• Few plugins, chosen deliberately. Every plugin is a dependency, an update and a potential vulnerability. We install what earns its place.
• Green Core Web Vitals, measured on a real phone on a real connection, not on a laptop in the office.
• Hardened. Locked-down admin, disabled file editing, real backups that are restored once before handover — an untested backup is a hope, not a backup.
• Persian typography set correctly: fonts, the half-space, numerals and RTL punctuation.

The maintenance question
