The challenge
Advino sells spices; a catalogue where a customer searches by name, use, origin and packaging, and the answer has to come back in a second.
The solution
A custom shop on ASP.NET Core MVC and PostgreSQL: a catalogue filtered by category, use, origin, weight and price with fast suggesting search; cart and payment with a bank gateway, discount codes and shipping calculation; SMS login and order history; and an admin panel for products, stock, orders and sales reporting. Most purchases are on phones; the product page was built for that.

- MVC
One ASP.NET Core MVC application with server rendering on PostgreSQL. For a shop of this size, one deployment and one database is enough, and page speed comes from server rendering and optimised images, not from extra layers.
